Trusting, dependent, adoring, responsive Too honest for acting unreal Open and curious, willing to bond This is what children reveal
Christ said that we must become just like them In the kingdom of God to share Let’s lay down our pride and humbly decide The stigma is worth it to bear
In Matthew 18:2-4, Jesus’ disciples asked Him who is the greatest person in His kingdom. The passage reads, “Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” If we are to embody and model childlikeness in our sophisticated culture, we will undoubtedly be in situations that we will have to bear a stigma to do so. Paul said that he was willing to be seen as “a fool” for Christ. Are we? Are you?
“We are fools for Christ’s sake….”
